Recommended for: dentists, L.A. trained and licensed hygienists, if with their dentist

A limited attendance opportunity to learn detailed anatomy via dissection, very unlike freshman year at dnetal school. Clinical applications of local anesthesia technique, including the Akinosi closed mouth mandibular block, the Gow-Gates high ramus mandibular block and the V2 palatine approach, Maxillary Block and much more. Various other techniques, by request, will be discussed, demonstrated, Dissected and practiced with a teamwork approach of the faculty and the participants working together. A short lecture will precede some topics. TMJ variances and an insight into myofacial.

Skulls, local anesthesia armamentarium and cadaver demi-heads will be made available.Participants may dissect, observe or a do a combination of both. It is a requirement that each participant bring their own instruments such they would use in practice for oral surgery cases or periodontal surgery cases. It is strongly suggested to also bring a head and neck atlas / text of their choice. Hand-outs will also be distributed.

This full day program will not have scheduled breaks or a scheduled time for lunch. These breaks will be timed at the individual discretion of the participant.
