A unique opportunity to participate and develop the dentist's and hygenist's skill base, but
without doing actual injections , in pursuit of the question, "Why do I only get a
bad batch of local in the mandible?The conventional inferior alveolar block and the Akinosi, closed mouth and Gow-Gates high ramal mandibular blocks, will be explored and anatomy, landmarks, skull locations, penetration points and demonstration of the needle pathways will all be practiced by the participant. After demonstration of the complete V2 division maxillary block, landmarking and needle approaches will also be practiced. Working in pairs, under direct supervision, the attendees will identify intraoral points (no actual injections), including infiltration applications.
